The road to Butiama is now sealed all the way (turnoff about 35 km south of Musoma). Museum on ythe left by entrance sign to Butiama. The museum is well worth a visit. If you are interested you may by arrangement be shown Mwalimu Nyerere’s private library, a fascinating glimpse at the interests of this amazing man.
